Some of the gems: “u look so burned” “those bangs are god awful” “u look so butch” “since when do u wear that” LIKE WHAT?! This was not a friend. Friends can call you out when you look like a hot mess but she was mean. There’s a difference.

I ended a friendship this year and it’s been painful. But as I was doing a lil memory lane photo tour on Facebook tonight I found not one but six different photos where this person insulted my appearance in the comments over multiple years. Why did I put up with this for so long?

I’ve had to travel quite a bit over the last year & one of the only things that has made me feel slightly safe is knowing that everyone is masked up on public transportation. There are people who are getting on planes KNOWINGLY with COVID. How are we to be protected now? 2/
