Let's see.... how a PS5 ended up reveling my ex wife second relationship and saved me from losing my house -convince my now ex wife to buy a ps5 for Christmas -purchase elden ring -playing session with friends leads to large argument that she begins talking divorce (married less than a year) -she stays but sleep in separate rooms and no contact -break down to best friend who plants the seed in my mind of cheating -ask for crunchyroll account password and realize that the pw is her computers password -log on to her computer and find out she's been having a online relationship that spans about 6 months before our wedding (we had been married 8 months by then) -messages revealed she was only staying so she could have a claim on the house and trying to goad into physical abuse so she could claim more in the divorce case -confront her and she for the most part admits everything and she was just using me as a piggy bank -tell her I wouldn't kick her out but she wouldn't have access to my internet network which causes her to leave (she kicked herself out lol) - take a 7.5k loan out for a lawyer fees but before locking down the lawyer my friends take me out to drink, one of them mentions his wife's dad is a lawyer and should call him -speak to him for several hours and he offers his legal counsel for free so I wouldn't have to spend a dime in legal fees -we divorce no contest since according to my friends wife father we were married too short of time for her to claim my house or alimony -get divorce relatively unscathed financialy (emotional is a different story) That PS5 saved me a lot of headache and getting fucked in the courts and she's the one who bought it for me lol
