📢 Call for Papers - The First International Conference of the International Association for Law and Interdisciplinary Studies (IALIS) 🗓️ Oct 3-5, 2025 📍 Kobe Yamate Campus of Kansai International University 💻 In person + Online Since its establishment, the International Association for Law and Interdisciplinary Studies (IALIS) (lawandinterdisciplinarystudies.org) has hosted numerous lectures by distinguished scholars and has organized or co-organized multiple academic conferences, symposia, lectures and other events in collaboration with institutions worldwide. Its partners include the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at Peking University, the Institute of Advanced Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Macau, the Center for Economic History Research at Tsinghua University, Yale Beijing Center, the Inter-Civilizations Institute at East China Normal University, the Education University of Hong Kong, University of Tsukuba University in Japan, College of Arts and Media at Tongji University, Peking University Press, Guangxi Normal University Press, Chinese Legal History Society (CLHS), Eastern Legal Culture Division of China Institute of Legal History (CILH), Baidu, the global scholarly platform “Global Studies Forum” and its affiliated “Global Network for Chinese Law, Society, and History,” China Law Journal, La Nouvelle Jesunese, WISEHUB, One Way Street Tokyo. In August 2025, the International Association for Law and Interdisciplinary Studies (IALIS) launched the "Global Symposium" series and has already held three symposia in Tokyo, Japan. All of the aforementioned academic activities are in-depth, forward-thinking, and cover a wide range of topics, fully embodying the Association's mission of "promoting research in law and interdisciplinary studies." Building on its existing academic activities and achievements, the International Association for Law and Interdisciplinary Studies (IALIS) will host its first international academic conference from October 3 to 5, 2025, at the Kobe Yamate Campus of Kansai International University.
