@eddidy1 However, if the creator doesn’t have Premium, they won’t be able to keep the items on sale or upload new ones. So the change mainly affects selling and publishing, not the players who already own the clothes.

How Roblox can destroy months of your work in one step. Roblox: “Anyone can become a creator.” Also Roblox: “Pay for Premium or you basically don’t exist.”

@eddidy1 The clothes themselves won’t be deleted from players’ inventories. If someone already bought them, they’ll still keep and use them.

@WKintossou82320 But I understand that it probably won’t happen anytime soon, which unfortunately means the growth of my group will be paused for quite a long time.

@Asishor Totally understand you spending many months trying to make something good just for it to be gone in a day it’s depressing.

@WKintossou82320 Right now, many people in my situation are struggling financially. The most I can do is keep improving my skills and hope that when I’m able to afford Premium again, I’ll restart my clothing.

@AreEmEl8 Besides, in 6 months I’ve only earned about 1,000 Robux, which is very little compared to the 30,000 needed to withdraw.

@AreEmEl8 I know, but I’ve only earned a small amount so far. I was in an investment phase, not a profit phase yet, so I haven’t made enough to withdraw.

@AreEmEl8 I get that it’s meant to prevent inappropriate content, but for small creators like me, this change came out of nowhere. I can’t afford Premium right now, and most people in my situation won’t be able to either.

Even if you do make 10$ a month on clothing you can’t devex it unless you have 30k Robux minimum, so at a competitive price of 5 - 7 rbx per 2D clothing piece (- the 30% fee Roblox takes) we would all have to sell around 10K CLOTHING PIECES A MONTH … so smaller creators who sell 500-1k clothing items a month (or less) should just be fine with all their work getting removed?? And not to mention the people in other countries were the currency is different and 10usd could be worth alot more?? What about the people who can’t buy premium at all because it’s not available in their region?? 2D clothing is not like UGC where it’s 50+ rbx per item.. How about people who don’t know anything about the subject stop giving their stupid takes and opinions 😍 Where are people supposed to start from?? If not 2D clothing?? I was able to fund my UGC group + multiple clothing groups from my clothing when I first started, now a lot of people won’t have that chance
veucit@Njbbear

@alxiyo If you aren’t making over $10/month on 2D clothing, what’s really the point

@roblox Despite claiming to preserve classic clothing, your actions are contradictory. Requiring both the group holder and uploader to have premium is absurd. Established groups have had hundreds of designers work for them and many of us have over 50 pages of clothes to track.
RTC@Roblox_RTC

Roblox will require users to have an active 1000 or 2200 Premium subscription to publish 2D clothing. By March 20th, if the item uploader does not have Premium, Roblox will put the item off-sale and delist the item from the marketplace.

@Njbbear So unfortunately, building something for myself on Roblox may no longer be my path. I’ll probably just work for others instead.

@Asishor It’s not that bad though. Just pay the tiny $10 subscription and you’re good.

@Njbbear Unfortunately, I’m not in the US, where a subscription like this might seem small. In my country, $10 is already a lot. With that money, I buy the medication I need to take every month for the rest of my life.

But I'm not giving up. I will keep improving my skills and working even if it means working for others instead of building for myself.

But sometimes the system makes you feel like you're not worthy of it.Right now I can't afford Premium because I'm in a very vulnerable economic situation. And that closes many opportunities for me.

I don't even have words to fully describe this feeling. I started developing my Roblox group not that long ago it hasn’t even been a year yet.I spent many months working, learning, and trying to build something from scratch.Just trying to improve my skills and grow as a creator.
