A 15-year-old girl has just succumbed to the injuries she sustained in today’s Israeli terrorist strike in Khan Younis (yesterday local time). Her name was Fatima al-Khatib. She is a relative of the one-month-old baby whose foot was severed in the strike.

The footage out of Gaza the last few days has been horrifying, but the footage tonight is reminiscent of what we witnessed day in and day out through 2023 and 2024. One friend in Nuseirat camp said that tonight was the worst night they’d experienced. It is the day before Eid al Adha and Israel, the ethno-supremacist Jewish nation it is, is slaughtering Palestinians as it always does before Islamic holidays.

The first time I ever picked up an object to harm myself, I was 10 years old. I had been through more trauma and sadness at 10 than most grown adults. If you don’t understand how someone that age could hurt this badly, be grateful.

At one point during the beginning of the genocide, Israel cut off the internet in northern Gaza while the firebelts (intensive airstrikes) were falling violently. There was a massive number of martyrs, with no one able to count them, retrieve their bodies, or even mention them. They died with no one knowing about them.
