@shjfrench Thanks for clarifying. I'm not sure I was thinking it was anything as dramatic as that though. Rather H2B more likely to be couched in negative terms

@AskJohnnyMorris Hi Johnny, In The Times’ defence - I was not asked to specifically write on H2B so does not appear to me to be a concerted campaign. The macro impact is always disputed, but the balance of analysis (OBR, LSE) suggests it has been inflationary.

The @thetimes seems to be particularly down on help to buy at the moment. Worth remembering that the macro impact of the scheme is totally conjecture - where as it has definitely helped 170k households buy homes thetimes.co.uk/article/help-t…
