The two Intifadas were indeed very violent. During the first, Yitzhak Rabin ordered the IDF to "break the bones" of demonstrators. In the first days of the second Intifada, Israel fired more than a million bullets and killed 47 unarmed demonstrators.

Both intifadas were characterised by levels of violence that would be intolerable in the UK: the second even more than the first, and the second is more recent and more memorable. Whichever Intifada you have in mind, a call for it to be "globalised" is incitement to violence.
