Barely about 4 months since I started using Sterling and it’s been one issue or the other, sigh🤦🏾‍♀️ If I knew StanChart wasn’t going to close my account at the end of February, I should have just stuck with it. Because what’s the reason for restricting my account????😡😡

This thread is for you if you’re: 1. a graduate and you know that getting a job in your field of study in Nigeria is like passing a camel through the needles eye (e.g those science courses whose name shall not be mentioned) ✅ 2. A lawyer who served before law school and has been finding it difficult to secure a role in a well paying law firm ✅ 3. A graduate in any field under 0-3 years looking for a job ✅ I bring to you the gospel of : *GRADUATE TRAINEE* Graduate trainee is the tool that many companies use to recruit entry level into their organization. In most companies, they do graduate trainee programs yearly to bring in inexperienced graduates from varying fields and train them till they become polished and role fit. The problem many graduates face is that lack of information makes them apply for experienced hire (most times your application will be aired cause you probably aren’t qualified and in many cases, these companies only take experienced hires from internal referrals i.e someone inside submitted your CV) Now, stay with me:

Happy to share that I have completed sth Corporate Governance Institute Professional Certificate on Overview of Corporate Governance with an average score of 91%. This has provided me the opportunity to join a global network of corporate governance professionals, advisors and industry leaders. The course contains four modules with four assessments, and you have to pass each assessment in one attempt and nothing more. For those interested in corporate governance, especially from a global and international perspective, I recommend that you take the course with the CGI. With 1895 USD, you can register for the course. It is a 4-month online programme. There are four modules. Also, by becoming a member of the CGI, you get an opportunity to network with a large community of corporate governance leaders, advisors, and executives and ESG compliance officers among others. The next step is to become a director at the CGI later in the year.

I don’t like salary conversations because it’s upsets me Nigerians are underpaid Every year, jojo and I check how much UK marketers earn for lesser work, and we end up laughing at ourselves. You don’t want to pay global rate, but you want global skills.
