@RealWarnerus @AlluPatronia ahhhh okay i see what you're saying, it still doesn't mean you have 100% equal DNA the fact that a trait is recessive for one of you but shows up in the other suggests a difference in DNA

@AsmodeusDaFox @AlluPatronia That's exactly what I've been trying to say. traits can exist in your DNA, but just not show up in you specifically. Still, in your DNA nonetheless.

Technically, I'm at least 1 of 3 since me and my siblings have the same DNA. I don't see how I'm 1 of 1.

a trait could be present in your DNA but be inactive and could be passed to your children my grandmother has alzheimer's. my mother may not get it, i may, who knows! i wish some things we could just know things for sure and be able to alter our environment to produce offspring that have the best genetics but that hardly works outside of just two really well put together people having a child

some genetic traits may get passed to one and no the other, me and my brother have different eye color, he has medical issues i don't have, i have hearing issues he doesn't have, we have different hair color and texture, he's 3 inches taller despite being younger not every child gets every genetic trait! despite all these differences people ask if he and i are twins xD

@AlluPatronia how? if you and a sibling came from the same two parents, you share 100% of the same DNA as each other. you share only 50% with each other your parents, 25% with your grandparents, and so on.
