Why do books matter? Because books open eyes & hearts & minds. They can show us the world in a different light, helping us imagine other lives. Books can connect us, bringing us together, building bridges in a world of walls. They are the greatest empathy engines ever invented.

Our first event of 2025 will be our popular Bedtime Stories evening on Friday 7th February. Tickets are £3 and include biscuits and a drink.
