Oh my gosh, this is funny. Democrats are publicly outraged because, in a private conversation, a Democrat called someone a “bimbo.” What makes it even funnier is that “bimbo” originally referred to men and basically meant an unintelligent person. My favorite use of the word is still Sir Mix-a-Lot in Baby Got Back: “Knock-kneed bimbos walkin’ like hoes.” I guarantee every single person pretending to be morally shocked on that list has called somebody an a$$hole, a bit*h, or worse in private conversation. The idea that grown adults in politics are issuing formal condemnations over the word “bimbo” is honestly hilarious. Especially coming from people who also insist that a woman can be someone born with an Adam’s Apple. This is why we laugh at you Democrats. Snowflake outrage. #snowflake

If you’re going to manufacture outrage, at least learn the title first. She’s a Congresswoman. I know it’s hard to define a woman on your team - so it’s easier to call everyone men. But we still use biology on our side (you know - follow the science). Oh also - she didn’t say it.

I have been predicting this for months. Gov Spanberger has vetoed the collective bargaining bill. Mandatory unionization of local government workers will not happen this year. This is good for every taxpayer in Virginia that was about to see a substantial increase to real estate taxes to cover this. Democrats are bigly mad. 😂

The biggest fairness problem with the National Popular Vote Compact is that it forces Virginians to have their presidential votes effectively tied to election systems in other states that Virginia cannot control. States like California and New York use dramatically different voting laws, voter roll maintenance standards, mail ballot procedures, and verification systems. If another state has weaker safeguards or public distrust in its election integrity, Virginians still bear the consequences because every disputed or improperly counted vote elsewhere can effectively cancel out a lawful vote cast here in Virginia. Under the Electoral College system, each state governs its own election and awards its own electors. The National Popular Vote Compact changes that balance by making Virginia dependent on election administration decisions made by officials thousands of miles away in states with very different political priorities and voting policies. Whether someone is Republican, Democrat, or independent, voters should be concerned anytime their state’s electoral outcome can be overridden by voting systems they neither control nor trust. It’s not a good day that Abigail signed this into law. While, it doesn’t change anything immediately. It puts us one step closer to an illegitimate process in selecting the president.

My mailbox is full from many of you concerned that the Democrats may actually try to retire the Virginia Supreme Court to pack it with activists who will reverse the redistricting decision. They will not do that. Primarily even if they wanted to, they are out of time. The Department of Elections commissioner said in an affidavit that May 12 is the point of no return. Whatever maps they are using cannot be modified after May 12. So even if the Democrats really attempted to try this ill-gotten plan, they would have to do it all before the end of the day tomorrow. It just can’t happen. There is no appeal to SCOTUS. There is no packing the court. The redistricting amendment is dead. All we are watching is desperation manifest itself as the Democrats come to grip that there is no way to flip the House of Representatives this year.

Can you imagine that the Democrats are discussing lowering the retirement age of the Va Supreme Court to 54 which would force the entire court to resign (including the three that voted with them). Then stack the court with 7 justices who would have pledged to reverse the redistricting decision. This is your Democrat party. Power hungry thugs. Willing to burn a high court to the ground that dares to disagree with them. They should never have power again.

Many of you on the left are commenting that the decision was 4-3, as if the math somehow changes what actually happened. Four Justices on the Virginia Supreme Court canceled the votes of every person who voted “yes.” All the money. All the effort. Cancelled. I know it is easy to blame the Court for what happened today. But here is the absolute truth: The Virginia Democrats broke the law. They did it openly, blatantly, and with complete disregard for the consequences. They believed they were untouchable because they controlled the executive branch and the legislative branch. The acted like mob bosses with no accountability. But in a government with checks and balances - the Courts always have the final say. Your vote was not canceled because four justices woke up and decided to invalidate an election. Your vote was canceled because Virginia Democrats put the Court in a position where the law required intervention. You should absolutely be angry that your vote was taken away. But be angry at the people who ignored the law and caused this mess in the first place. If Democrats had simply followed the Constitution and done it correctly, none of this would have happened.

The absolute best thing about the Democrats losing their illegal redistricting efforts are the Democrats like Dan Helmer and others who were running in the proposed new lobster district. Tons of money raised. Tons spent. For nothing. I wonder if refunds to donors will be demanded? These politicians should have to pay everything back out of their own pockets. Talk about putting the cart before the horse.

Well how about that. I guess 10 fu$king one is not going to be 10 fu$king one! Supreme Court vacates the redistricting results. $50 million spent by democrats for nothing more than pie on their face.

Yesterday was a small win. But an important one. At Kellam High School, several white students gave their close black friend fried chicken and a birthday card as a joke between friends. The black student himself said he thought it was funny. There was no hatred. No animus. No threat. But adults turned it into a public execution. School officials blasted the kids in an all-school email. Called them racists. Called the police. Promised “maximum punishment.” Politicians and activists piled on. Adults stalked the kids’ homes, screamed at them, and treated children like monsters. The online comments were even worse. The punishment? School officials tried to remove them from school for the rest of 9th grade and half of 10th grade. All over fried chicken and a birthday card. Meanwhile, in an actual high-profile racial incident involving the Kempsville baseball team, the suspensions were under 10 days. More than 25 other racial harassment cases in Virginia Beach over two years received dramatically lighter punishment. No students in Virginia Beach had ever been treated this way. So I sued. In state court, three of my clients won. A judge ruled the School Board acted arbitrarily and capriciously and ordered the records expunged. The School Board appealed anyway, forcing families to spend more money defending a ruling the Board already lost. For the fourth boy, we filed a federal civil rights lawsuit under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. The superintendent, chief of schools, and principal all tried to get the case thrown out. A month ago, they lost the motion to dismiss. The federal claims survived. A second federal lawsuit for the other boys also survived yesterday on claims including defamation, equal protection, and civil conspiracy. Suing the government is hard. Surviving federal motions to dismiss is even harder. What matters most is this: the adults trusted to protect children chose politics over fairness. They sacrificed kids to satisfy activists, loud voices, and misguided public outrage. And before anyone says this is about money, understand this: before any lawsuit was filed, a simple request was made. Apologize. Retract the statements. Do the right thing. They refused. So now we do it the hard way.

Big ruling today in federal court in the Kellam High School case. The judge denied dismissal of the equal protection and defamation claims against the individual school officials and ruled the case will move forward into discovery. When no students anywhere in Virginia Beach were treated as harshly as these students were (more than 30 over 2 years) it raises serious questions about racial undertones, bias, racial motive and intent to satisfy a mob intent on destroying children’s lives. We are now in the arena to start asking those questions under oath and demanding the internal emails, drafts, and communications behind what happened. 12b6 is behind us. Things just got really serious for VBCPS.

A little more than 5 years ago, I stood outside my office to respond to a $20 million lawsuit filed against me by Senator Lucas claiming defamation in criticism I publicly levied against her involving the incident involving the destruction of a monument in Portsmouth that critically injured someone and he role in the riot at that time. It cost me almost $100k in legal fees to defend the action and ultimately the lawsuit was thrown out in Portsmouth by a substitute appointed judge. Today, Louise finds herself on the receiving end of the FBI raiding her offices and businesses. You would think I would be angry. I'm not. Her lawsuit propelled me into elected office, and I am where I am today mostly because of the hard adjustment my life took to this lawsuit. You could say I made lemonade from lemons. As I stood in front of the Va Beach Courthouse yesterday and publicly decried the predetermined guilt assumption of my client by the social media attack dogs- when his case was ultimately dismissed - I will also stay true to myself. Louise Lucas is entitled to the presumption of innocence. Also, the Trump DOJ has time and time again brought illegitimate political prosecutions that have been dismissed or tossed out. What they have or don't have on Senator Lucas will be something for the courts to work through if the DOJ initiates criminal charges. The Bible reminds us: Prov 24:17 "Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice..." I will keep my head down and wait for the process to work itself out. I hope you do also.
