#STEMeducation day has started well in Red Kites. Bridge building is underway!

Our Kestrels are learning about weights, measures, and reading scales through baking for #RedNoseDay tomorrow

Last week we had our traditional pancake races down by All Saints’ Church, and then celebrated with pancakes cooked and served by lovely members of ⁦@HeathfieldBene⁩

Last week, the children in school spent some time thinking about how they can best Be Ready for learning, linked to our school vision: Learning, Loving, Living and our Golden Rules. They came up with some great ideas and they are on the poster attached 🙂

Great to be able to see our children from Reception, Year 1 and 2 perform Rock Around the Flock today! A huge thanks to our PTA as well for helping to provide a new PA system and microphones so we could hear them!

The season of advent is here! We have been made a beautiful advent wreath by @HeathfieldBene and the children have enjoyed putting up the decorations in the school this morning :)

I wonder if any of our talented and creative pupils would be interested in entering this.

Over the last two weeks, every class has had the opportunity to be taught by a professional artist. We were delighted to be able to share the finished pieces of work with our families today.

A lovely combination of events in school on a gloriously sunny day - bikeability in Year 6 and our Resident Artist, Mr Syman Kaye, gave an art lesson to our Reception children.

A huge 'thank you' to Mr Toms and all of Buzzards class who joined an Eid meal this evening at finish off their learning on Ramadan and Islam #ShareRamadan

The children thoroughly enjoyed their Easter Egg hunt this morning with our wonderful PTA providing an egg for every child :)
