@ClementFighter @rshereme Quite the opposite, Piłsudski was criticized for his polices when he was still alive, and is to this day. His earned title of hero for regaining Polish independence, and his later work as Marshal of Poland are two separate things. For latter one he was and is openly criticized.

No genocide occurred, faith was protected by law since 14th century and by constitution of 1791. Piłsudski died in 1935 and sought balance via non-aggression pacts with both Hitler and USSR

@rshereme Poland seized half of Belarus and Western Ukraine in 1921, committed genocide against the local population, and forced them to convert to Catholicism and learn Polish. In 1939, the USSR expelled the Polish occupiers. Pilsudski was planning to attack the USSR together with Hitler.
