Guys, I’m incredibly disappointed that people are requesting very weird cameos and when we say no to them we get bad reviews. Not only does this hurt us, but we are people. Please stop being weird.

@AAVARION I have never been so happy to receive a response from a director in my life. I have always been self-conscious about my voice and to hear this from a director actually made me cry. I will definitely audition again in the future! CONGRATS TO THOSE WHO WERE CASTED!

that makes me so uncomfortable when creators do that. I have been announced for roles I never auditioned for or fandubs I've NEVER agreed to, not even asked.

This behavior needs to stop on CCC, or really anywhere you do casting. Ask for permission before casting anyone. Plus since it's a fan project, I'm going to automatically decline, due to several bad experiences I've been through, and I'm very pick and choose with fan projects.

@BrianServinoVA I can't tell you how many roles I've never gotten but you know what? I never give up on auditioning, because there is always a chance I get the role. I have met some of my very best friends from projects I have gotten roles in and am very grateful for the roles I have gotten.

Reminder: Looking bitter over a role because the director thought someone else was a better fit not only makes you look bad to work with, but your name will likely be passed around if you become an issue. You are also not entitled to something just because you "tried your best."
