A galaxy spotted by the James Webb Space Telescope, known as Hebe, that existed just 400 million years after the big bang appears to contain extremely pure and young stars #Echobox=1775146516" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">newscientist.com/article/252192…

That's us! 🌍 The Artemis II crew captured beautiful, high-resolution images of our home planet during their journey to the Moon. As @Astro_Christina put it: "You guys look great."

This could easily be our newest "Blue Marble" photo. Taken on April 2 by Artemis II commander Reid Wiseman from inside the Orion spacecraft, it shows a nightside view of the full globe of Earth with background stars, zodiacal light, and aurorae. Truly stunning. 📸🌍 #ArtemisII

Even in darkness, we glow. In this image of Earth taken by the Artemis II crew, we can see the electric lights of human activity. In the lower right, sunlight illuminates the limb of the planet.

Webb captured this new image of galaxy Messier 58, in both the near and mid-infrared, as part of a treasury of 55 massive, star-forming galaxies. The data on the properties of these galaxies will add insight to our picture of how galaxies grow and evolve over cosmic time.
