A planet in exaltation but in a nakshatra whose lord is debilitated gives weakened results. A planet in debilitation but in a nakshatra whose lord is exalted gives surprisingly strong results. Sign is the body. Nakshatra is the soul.

Rahu gives the results of the planet whose sign it occupies AND the planet whose nakshatra it occupies. Before fearing or celebrating a Rahu Dasha, identify these two planets. If both are benefic and well-placed, Rahu becomes a vehicle for extraordinary worldly rise. If both are malefic and afflicted- Rahu amplifies destruction. The planet itself is neither good nor bad. It is an amplifier.
