I loved the book ‘Project Hail Mary’ by @andyweirauthor and was excited to finally see the movie version. There is a lot to love about it. Dr Ryland Grace is a passionate, maverick science teacher (and very reluctant astronaut) sent to space to save Earth. In the process he finds friendship in the most unlikely of circumstances and the movie is packed with all the usual brilliant science that Andy is known for (The Martian). Who knew we could be moved to tears of laughter and sadness by an unlikely partnership between a rock-like alien and a human, but Ryan Gosling and the incredible creation that is ‘Rocky’, voiced and pupeteered by Justin Ortiz, did just that. It’s rare to watch a movie and want to say ‘go and watch this at the cinema’ but this is definitely one of them 🚀🪨🌍👩‍🚀. #projecthailmary @AmazonMGMStudio @SonyPicturesUK
