marriage was never a thing of love, God or beauty. marriage was a tradeoff, a settlement, a way to finance the future of kings and queens. do you know that's never really changed? it's funny the net of welfare that suddenly opens. that's what marriage is really for.

i mean, my apt is very similar to what i had back in iowa (my set up, at least). i can get these things. its so dope, i keep the lights low, concentrate and work on shit, but still nothing is remotely compared to that "basement" feel. nothing will ever come close to that.

man, i love Brodie's basement in Mallrats. its the one thing you can't have in FL ... a banger basement. i had one back in iowa, growing up. i had a banger basement room and all my shit down there, like a cave. i even have dreams about it. miss that basement so much

rincewind was stuck in the dungeon dimension for like 15 years, surrounded by Lovecraftian monsters. thankfully, due to a giant time slip, the 15 years spent felt much shorter than that, i'm still sure Rincewind was pretty messed up by it. you gotta love this series

@GAltringham it had some amazing visuals, but that was like, the last film nolan did before he drifted off into making films just because it pays well.
