ON THIS DAY! | May 1st 2000 🗓️ The historic 90 minute showdown between JMMA icon Kazushi Sakuraba and three-time UFC tournament champion Royce Gracie took place at the Tokyo Dome.

First time seeing Speedball Mike Bailey at the globe theater in about 3 years and finally got to see Amazing Red live so I can't fully hate on hog. Putting that match first knowing damn well nothing will follow it was a choice though

Seeing Zilla stink up the globe theater hurt my soul. There was an integrity to that place because it used to be where only the best wrestled.

Finally put my finger on what turns me off of House of glory. It's indie Wrestling made to be as digestible as possible for wwe fans

Always love seeing the old frank and sons arena on the timeline

Cairo- I have no idea, would have been Von Erichs but now maybe Cena or Rock; 6. Sao Paulo (Ted Boy); 7. Mexico City (Santo); 8. Beijing (Rock); 9. Mumbai (Khali or Singh); 10. Osaka (Inoki most likely).
