ZigZag TPO & Profile. Analyze the strength of market waves in just a few clicks. ZigZag TPO and Profile is a unique drawing object in ATAS that is not available in other analytical platforms. It combines wave analysis with detailed volume information inside each market swing. 💡What is the value of this feature? Now you can quickly mark market movements into swings and evaluate their internal strength in just a few clicks. The tool shows the volume distribution inside each wave, which helps to: 🔹 find balance and imbalance zones 🔹 identify local support and resistance levels 🔹 see where the price spent the most time thanks to TPO For each swing, a profile is built and three scales are displayed to compare waves: 🔵 Blue scale - volume relative to other waves 🟢 Green scale - movement speed (price : time) 🟠 Orange scale - wave density (volume : price distance) Click the dropdown menu to see the exact values of these metrics. How to use the tool 1️⃣ Select ZigZag TPO and Profile in the Volume Analysis section of the drawing objects menu 2️⃣ Click on the extremes to build the wave structure 3️⃣ Right-click to finish the drawing 4️⃣ Need to adjust the structure? Simply drag the extreme points with the mouse The tool can also be visually customized like any other drawing object in ATAS. 📱 Video overview is already available on our YouTube youtube.com/watch?v=pSmNed… 🚀 Install the latest version of ATAS and try ZigZag TPO in your analysis.

↗️ How swing trading works and who it is suitable for Swing trading is a trading style where positions are held for several days to several weeks in order to profit from price fluctuations within a trend. This approach is often chosen by traders for whom active intraday trading is not suitable. At first glance, everything looks simple: identify a trend → wait for a correction → enter a position → hold it for several days. But in practice, more questions arise than answers: 🔹 how to distinguish a correction from the start of a reversal; 🔹 which markets are better suited for swing trading: stocks, futures, cryptocurrencies; 🔹 which tools truly help with analysis and which only create an illusion of control; 🔹 how to account for news and volatility when holding positions overnight. This material provides a detailed explanation of how swing trading works in practice: trade examples, core strategies (trend-following, breakouts, pullbacks), and analytical tools most commonly used by swing traders. web.atas.net/48I5GIF Advantages of swing trading: ✔️ does not require constant screen time; ✔️ allows traders to capture larger price movements; ✔️ suitable for different markets and timeframes; ✔️ provides time for analysis and decision-making; ✔️ can be combined with other trading styles. Limitations and risks: ❌ holding positions overnight involves gap risk; ❌ wider stop-losses are usually required; ❌ there is no guarantee that a trend will continue; ❌ analysis includes an element of subjectivity; ❌ requires discipline and a solid understanding of risk management. If you are considering swing trading as a trading style, this overview will help you understand its strengths and weaknesses and determine whether it suits you.

📈 How to take advantage of the fear of getting stopped out? In trader slang, there is an interesting term — FOBSO. It stands for Fear Of Being Stopped Out, which literally means the fear of hitting a stop-loss. Next, we’ll break down: 🔹 why traders develop a fear of stop-losses, 🔹 how to deal with it, 🔹 and how to use such situations to your advantage when others are afraid. 😨Why traders fear stop-losses Beginners often complain: “The market is deliberately hunting my stops!” They are convinced that brokers, market makers, or “someone out there” are deliberately targeting their orders. In reality, the reason is often different: stop-losses are placed too close to the current price. Another factor is mass trader behavior. Everyone reads the same books where gurus advise to “hide stops behind recent extremes.” As a result, thousands of stops accumulate in the same area and that area becomes attractive to large players. Conclusion: your small stop doesn’t matter to anyone, but when hundreds of others are placed at the same level, large players may initiate a “stop hunt.” 📝A trader’s real-life scenario You’re watching the oil chart. Price forms higher highs and higher lows. You decide to buy at 29.50 and place a stop just below the latest low. What happens next? The market drops and takes out your stop. You re-enter and the stop is hit again. Then, as if on purpose, price moves higher, confirming your original idea. Sound familiar? This is exactly how FOBSO the fear of getting stopped out is formed. 🎯 The real reasons behind “stop hunting” 🔹 The “culprit” is a large institutional trader who needs liquidity for a big position. 🔹 They know where retail traders hide their stops and gently push the price lower to trigger protective orders. This widens spreads and creates the impression that the market is “pulling” toward your stop. The broker has nothing to do with it. It’s pure market mechanics. 🤨How not to become a victim 🔹 Use wider stops, for example based on Average True Range, so your stop matches current volatility. 🔹 Backtest your strategy — accept that losses are inevitable and that stop-losses are part of a systematic approach. 🔹 Most importantly, treat stop-losses not as enemies, but as a risk management tool. 😎How to gain an edge from others fear 🔹 Experienced traders view “stop hunting” as a valid market scenario. 🔹 Use Cluster Search, Delta, footprint indicators to identify stop activation zones. When most traders lock in losses, you can prepare for a potential price reversal. 🔹 In other words, turn others’ fear into a source of trading advantage. ✍️ Conclusion Suffering from FOBSO? It’s not your broker’s fault — take control into your own hands. 🔹 Learn to recognize stop hunts, 🔹 use them within your strategy, 🔹 and reduce the impact of emotions on your trading decisions.

SUNK COST FALLACY “I’ve already invested too much to stop.” Is it perseverance or a thinking trap? 🧠 THE ESSENCE The sunk cost fallacy is when we continue a project, trade, or idea only because we’ve already invested time, money, or energy. The more we’ve put in, the harder it becomes to admit that the rational choice is to exit. The brain wants to avoid losses. It whispers: “just a bit more”, “I have to finish this”, “otherwise everything was for nothing”. But past investments are already gone and they shouldn’t dictate future decisions. WHY WE FALL FOR IT 🔍 🔹 Losses feel stronger than gains of the same size. 🔹The need to justify previous decisions. 🔹 Fear of admitting a choice was wrong. 🔹 A desire to “win it back” rather than evaluate objectively. Inertia: it’s easier to continue than to stop. ⚠️WHY IT’S DANGEROUS The sunk cost fallacy keeps people stuck in things that no longer work. It creates “endless projects”, “indestructible ideas”, and decisions made for the sake of the past not the future. Example: Staying on a path that no longer fits you just because “I’ve already come so far”. 🎯PRO VS AMATEUR MINDSET Pro: Looks ahead. Sees exiting as a way to protect capital and energy. Understands that value lies in saved resources, not in soothing the ego. Amateur: Fights for an idea just to feel “right”. Holds the position to avoid feeling defeated. PRACTICE: WHAT TO DO 1️⃣Define your “exit point” Set exit conditions in advance without emotions or excuses. 2️⃣Remove the past from the equation Focus on what lies ahead, not what’s already spent. 3️⃣Keep a decision journal It helps you see where you held on to hope instead of facts. PRACTICE: MINDSET ✔️ Reframe “failure” Stopping isn’t weakness it’s a tool to protect your resources. ✔️ Release emotional debt You don’t have to finish what no longer makes sense. ✔️ Reframe losses Not “I lost”, but “I freed capital and time for better opportunities”.

Where do you think Bitcoin will close this week? I see a retest of $97,000 and a possible close around that zone Heatmaps in ATAS have clearly marked liquidity there Reply with your price guess in USD 👇 The closest guess to the weekly candle close wins an ULTRA ATAS account
