A Blooomberg investigation reveals that Nintendo took notice of "third-party merchants offering games for sale [on Amazon US] at prices that undercut Nintendo’s advertised rates," causing Nintendo to pull all first party products from Amazon in the US. I hope this puts the "broken street dates" rumor to rest.

@TakiUdon_ I'm not so sure that's wholly accurate about it having been 800? I've had many packages from 3-5000 come in through DHL and never once been asked for anything of the sort. I have however been asked if things were personal use or commercial whenever it's been over $1000.

DHL has forced DDP on all US orders. If the package is over $250, DHL will contact customers to get their SSN to clear the package (this used to only happen on orders > $800).

I’ve been reading discussions on how the new tariffs will impact retro handhelds. Well, I have some data. The cheapest shipping company that many retro handhelds companies use added a flat customs processing fee of $3 + 30% of the declared value as a deposit.
