Honoured to attend the Iftar reception at Lancaster House hosted by His Majesty’s Government with ministers from @FCDOGovUK and @mhclg. Dialogue between policymakers and communities remains essential in addressing global and regional challenges including those affecting Afghans.

It was nice to see you at the Ramadan Iftar reception at Lancaster House. The recent decision about Afghan students’ visas is concerning, as I mentioned to you. While steps to combat abuse might be required, nationality shouldn’t be a barrier to education.

در شرایطی که جهان و منطقه با بحران و جنگ روبه‌رو است، اطلاع‌رسانی دقیق، مسوولانه و حرفه‌ی بیش از هر زمان دیگری حایز اهمیت است. این موفقیت شایسته، نتیجه تلاش و تعهد @SkyYaldaHakim در عرصه خبرنگاری است.

Studying overseas is one of the few remaining pathways for Afghan students who are barred from education at home. Halting study visas risks reinforcing the restrictions already imposed by the Taliban, especially for girls!

دو صدا، دو سرزمین، یک آرزو: آرامش، امنیت و کرامت انسانی هیچ جامعه‌ای سزاوار ترس، جنگ و بی‌ثباتی نیست. انسانیت نباید قربانی سیاست شود.

ما دشمن خارجی و تهدید خارجی علیه منافع ملی خویش، و همچنین دشمن داخلی و تهدید داخلی علیه هستی مادی و معنوی خویش را از دیرباز به‌درستی شناسایی کرده و به‌خوبی درک نموده‌ایم. پیش از ظهور شورای کویته می‌دانستیم که قصه چیست و جریان چیست. و بسیار واضح و علنی ثبت تاریخ ساخته ایم که شورای کویته چرا ساخته شده بود. برای پاسداری و حراست از منافع ملی و حوزوی خود، به هیچ فرمول طالبانی نیاز و ضرورت نداریم. زندان های طالب هم اکنون نیز پر از مردم ماست پر از مردم افغانستان است. خبر شدم که طالب به اصطلاح سه تن اسیر پاکستانی را با تحفه و لباس به سفارت عربستان سعودی تحویل داد و با عزت آزاد ساخت. به انترنت سر بزنید و ببینید که با اسیران ما چه کردند. به تاریخ باید حافظه ساخت و آنرا احترام کرد.

The systematic exclusion of women from work & education in 🇦🇫 is a structural crisis. It raises urgent questions about the global response & accountability. As President Baerbock @UN_PGA noted, women’s rights are the measure of any society. If women are not safe, no one is safe!
