No trading today because I had my makeup trial for my niece’s wedding. I’m definitely not used to wearing this much makeup, but I have to admit, the whole process has been so much fun. She’s my only niece, but she’s always felt more like a little sister/best friend. I honestly can’t wait for the big day! Now I’m just looking forward to the food tasting 🎂

🚨 LIFE UPDATE 🚨 On Friday 3rd July, I taught my last lesson as a school teacher in order to dedicate my full focus on trading and providing value to others, bringing an end to a 11 year school teacher career. This was not a snap decision, but was actually a move that has been in the works for the past 4 years. Both myself and my wife always had our big why from the very start - we wanted to raise a family without me missing all the key moments in a child’s life. This would be impossible as a full time school teacher. The goal has never been fancy cars or watches, but to be able to live an inspired life, to be able to choose to spend my time and energy on the things that inspire me each and every day. In the past 4 years, we knew we would have to do what others are unwilling to do. Long work days from 6am - 4pm, followed by studying charts and analysing live trades all evening, countless weekends spent dedicated to improvement, sacrificing short term gratification for long term success. The past 4 years have been nothing but sacrifice and dedication. With an ever growing track record of payouts and consistently green months in the markets, combined with a suitable amount of capital saved up, we felt secure in taking this next important step in our lives. Is it a bold move? Yes. Is it a risky move? Absolutely! Do I back myself to provide a free and fulfilling life for myself and my family! You bet your ass I do! I know I have new levels to reach in my trading. I know I have much more value I can give back to the trading community. With more capacity, the goal will be to level up all areas of my life, including my trading, my mindset, my health as well as the value I can give to each and every one of you. Thank you to you all for being a part of my journey so far. But the journey doesn’t end here. I’m only just getting started.

$2,000 drawdown. Most traders see $2,000 they can lose. Profitable traders see $2,000 they need to protect. Same number. Completely different mindset.

@AthenTrades I was working my 9-5 just like I am now. But I was always thinking that there has to be some other way to buy my time back. While on vacation in January 2025 I found trading. I used the time I had during that trip to study trading for hours everyday.

What did you do before trading entered your life? I feel like every trader has a completely different story.

@theGoldInvestr It’s crazy how being a little early can turn the right idea into the wrong trade. Timing really is part of the setup.
