Tomorrow we will likely see several large and violent tornadoes in W WI, E IA, NW IL, and/or SE MN. This also happens to be a very geologically unique area, known as the Driftless Region. I won’t go into all the specifics and history behind it, but I do want to point out that this region is known for its bluffs, rolling hills, and forestry. It’s often compared to Appalachia, if that gives you a better idea. So when it comes to chasing in this region, it can be difficult to get good visuals on the storms that you’re chasing. Please be ultra aware of your surroundings tomorrow. Situational awareness is everything in an environment like this!
