And as Jesus passed from thence, there followed him two blind men, crying out and saying: Have mercy on us, son of David. And when he was come to the house, the blind men came to him. And Jesus saith to them: Do you believe that I can do this unto you? They say to him: Yea, Lord. Then he touched their eyes, saying: According to your faith, be it done unto you. And their eyes were opened. And Jesus strictly charged them, saying: See that no man know this. But they going out, spread his fame abroad in all that country.

Atlantean civilization ran without logic, and we still can’t match what it could do.
According to Dr Steiner, our Atlantean forefathers didn’t think in concepts the way we do today;
they lived in a powerful, image-based memory.
They didn’t calculate or analyze.
They recognized.
Where modern humans rely on logic, Atlanteans acted by recalling living pictures formed through experience:
“A man did what he had always seen done before; he did not think, he remembered.”
This shaped everything.
Education wasn’t abstract; it was experiential and visual.
Authority didn’t come from intelligence, but from age; because the oldest carried the deepest memory.
Progress wasn’t driven by innovation, but by repetition and refinement.
But this form of consciousness gave them something modern humanity has lost:
Access to life-force itself.
Steiner describes how Atlanteans worked not with dead matter, but with the vitality within nature.
They could draw energy from living substances; transforming forces within things like plants into usable power.
Not machines as we know them, but organic technologies:
Air-like vessels hovering above the ground,
Water systems shaped by a more fluid Earth,
A physical strength enhanced from within.
Their cities weren’t built, they were grown.
Houses formed from living trees.
Nature and human life were not separate, but continuous.
Even language had power.
In early Atlantean times, words weren’t just symbols; they carried force.
To speak was to influence.
To name was to act upon reality.
But this world declined.
As memory turned inward toward personal desire, these same life-forces were misused.
Power became individual… and destructive.
And from this collapse, something new emerged:
Thought.
In the later Atlantean epoch, humans began to judge, compare, and reflect.
Not just remember what is, but question it.
This was the beginning of modern consciousness.
Atlanteans fulfilled their role: the development of memory.
We are now in a different phase.
Not to return to Atlantean consciousness;
but to master thinking itself.
Because what we call “logic” today isn’t the peak of human evolution.
It’s just the next step.
