In case anyone would like to know, Athens bagel & Frutta Bowls both shut down. I learned this after Google told me they were open and I walked to both

@cdoggmorgan @PatienceVeitch We’re still renovating. Hope Athens isn’t considered “hostile” — us natives hate to hear things like that! We’re always happy for visiting teams and their fans to enjoy our city…and also lose a football game 😉

@PatienceVeitch Athens bagel in downtown is great for breakfast although they were closed last time I went up there. But good luck you’re in for a very hostile environment….

Guys.. ya girl is fixing to make her first trip to Sanford Stadium in Athens this Saturday!! So with that being said, for those who have been to Athens before, what are some recommendations for some good places to eat before/and or after the game?!

@seemifatema We were drowned…not gotten rid of! Had a major sprinkler system flood and we’re underway with renovations. Hold steady, we’ll be back ;)

So proud of our @UGAAthletics Bulldogs! What an unforgettable experience. Long awaited and well deserved! Can’t wait to start feeding the team (and the fans!) again once we reopen!

@_RichardHare We miss you, too! We’ve just received our building permit to complete the interior renovations. We are awaiting approval from Historic Preservation to hopefully make some changes to the exterior. Then we’ll be rocking and rolling to get the place reopened! Looking like October…

If Athens Bagel Company doesn’t open back up with in the next month, I might have to just end it all.
