Experienced a great wave of depression at age 15-19
Woke up everyday feeling like a failure, felt l was made for more . I wished l could get my life together at that age , l was just a kid with high ambition.
Clocked 19, had to tell myself. I better get up. I did get up !!

At some point, you have to stop letting your depression win. You have to stop sitting in the same room, replaying the same thoughts, waiting for something to change. Nobody’s coming to save you, it’s on you to save yourself. Get up. Take a shower. Go for a walk. Work on that dream you’ve been putting off. It doesn’t have to be perfect, just start! You owe it to yourself to fight for a better version of you, even on the days when you don’t feel like it. Healing doesn’t happen overnight, but every time you get up instead of giving u that’s progress.
