@Frank3ic @Tom_Tom3003 Patient survived because he arrested in ICU. The same patient would have packed if he arrested in A&E or the wards because most of these locations don't have AED let alone the medication for ALS.

@Tom_Tom3003 In the end it all depends on the effectiveness of the CPR (CCF index), a witnessed arrest, prompting early identification and intervention (CPR, medications, artificial airway). At least a significant amount depends on this. Well, your journey lies ahead, time will tell.

@Doprime @king_pearxe If we have a functional health system, you can't go to the hospital with that complain. You will first have to see a Gp that closes at 5:30pm. Hospitals are reserved for emergencies and proper appointments after referrals.

@king_pearxe Sometimes as a Dr , i put my self in the patient’s shoes . What will make him leave his home at that dead of the night to come to a hospital . I know it may seem like a disturbance , but a little searching will reveal a lot . If nothing , then a little admonition too

How can you come to the hospital by 1am in the night with numbness in the hand which started 4 days ago Now the Doctor wants to admit you but you refused, you said you want to go home and manage it… So what was the reason for coming to the hospital by that time?

@ChuksEricE You don't have any business with private hospitals if you are not financially buoyant. And once it is an emergency, public hospitals give you priority. This is applicable almost everywhere in the world.
