Mexican fans already fell in love with El Grande Americano because of the mask, charisma and how committed Ludwig Kaiser was to the gimmick. The character became so over that even real life started feeling like part of the storyline. ☠️

I’ve been a professional wrestler for over 8 years. Making towns, learning my craft, going from one company to the next… I always looked at titles and championships as sort of like props, not letting it affect me too much when it comes to winning or losing them. It’s just a show after all, right??? But this one, this one hits different… Maybe it’s because it has the WWE logo on it, maybe it’s because of all the hours I spend at the performance center constantly striving to develop into the greatest version of myself, maybe it’s because I won it surrounded by my peers, people who share a similar story to me, my literal FAMILY in that ring!!! While those are all maybes, one thing is for certain. The reason this title hits different is because when I got into wrestling my original goal was to “finish what my father started” and this title represents a step further toward that goal! To do something he never did, to win a championship title in the WWE!!! So you can call it a prop, you can say it’s a meaningless title, you can say I didn’t “deserve” it. But at the end of the day, it’s the end of the day and LEXIS KING is your WWE SPEED CHAMPION!!! With haste, -The Fastest Man Alive
