According to Aztec mythology, this isn’t the first world. It’s the fifth. Four entire worlds existed before ours, and each one was wiped out in a different catastrophe. To the Aztecs, history wasn’t a straight line. It was a cycle that had already repeated four times. 🧵👇

They had no empire, no giant army, and no powerful weapons. Yet kings whispered their name in fear. Hidden in the mountains of Persia, a small group built a secret network that could reach the most powerful men of the Middle Ages. They became known as the #Assassins.

#Cherubim were also connected to the Ark of the Covenant, where two golden figures stood above it facing each other. Similar winged guardian beings existed in ancient Near Eastern cultures, raising questions about how these traditions influenced each other over time.

Cherubim are among the most mysterious beings in the Hebrew Bible and Jewish tradition. They are described as powerful heavenly guardians connected to God’s presence, sacred places and the hidden boundary between the human world and the divine. 🧵👇

The deepest meaning of this myth lies in its connection to human life. Sköll and Hati represent unstoppable time itself. Even the Sun, Moon, and gods are not eternal. Everything follows a greater cycle of change and renewal.

The Vikings believed two giant wolves chased the Sun and the Moon across the sky every day. One day, they would finally catch and devour them. But this dark prophecy was never just a monster story. It was a vision about time, fate, and the end of the world. 🧵👇

@gegenprxss I think they come from the east and are a distinct ethnic group. Sherpa comes from Tibetan and means “people from the east“. 🙏

Sherpa homeland and a Lhasa Tibetan landscape feel completely different, Sherpas can be best understood as a distinct high-Himalayan mountain people. Their mother tongue is also closely related to EASTERN Tibetan (Kham region which is dominated by the Hengduan mountains).

@EdvardAnde3640 @chinki_amsha @ducati_dada this is the constitution of a peak mountaineering environment not mainland Tibet again friend, where daily life historically would have involved CLIMBING hundreds or 1000s of meters between settlements, fields, and pastures. Tibet is a plateau, learn the game and come back again

Samadhi cannot be forced by chasing an experience. The path begins with training attention, calming the mind and observing thoughts without attachment. Through consistent meditation and inner stillness, the mental noise fades, creating the conditions where Samadhi can arise.

Samadhi is not about escaping reality or entering another world. It is a state where the mind becomes deeply still, allowing experience to unfold without the usual layers of thoughts, fears and personal identity.

Imagine experiencing life without the constant voice in your head analyzing, judging and reacting to everything. Samadhi points to this state: where awareness remains, but the mental boundaries that create separation begin to dissolve. 🧵👇

One of the oldest Buddhist texts contains an idea that sounds almost backwards: every argument you win can make you less wise. It's not a quote pulled out of context. It's a core lesson of the Sutta Nipāta, and it changes how you see conflict. 🧵👇

Long before humans built telescopes, ancient civilizations had a map of the universe. The idea of seven heavens was not just a myth, but a cosmic system shared across Mesopotamia, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, where each layer carried meaning beyond the visible sky. 🧵👇
