I hope the Whitecaps survive this, but Ryan Reynolds can't save them on his own.
I wonder if a league swap could work. Jose Bautista joins the MLS bid and brings the Lights into MLS and Vancouver moves to USL Premier to play alongside the Tampa Bay Rowdies, another former NASL team.
Caps fans keep their team in D1 at a fraction of the cost and the Vegas bid doesn't destroy a current soccer community like what happened to the Loyal in San Diego.
It's not pretty, but nothing short of the Caps staying would be.

@GhostofMullaney @SW3RVIN77 Beat is a bit of an exaggerated statement. Penalties are mostly luck and a guess. Credit to your keeper, but a 1-1 scorelines isn't something to brag about. If we had lost 3-1 or by a wider margin, then maybe I'd argue you have a point.

Got into the mud with some Revs fans these past couple days. Before I go back to not caring about them at all, a couple things: 1) An MLS team beating USL is never a flex 2) Defiance 1636 is the best support in New England Thanks for your attention to this matter

A 4th consecutive US Open Cup match will be held at Centreville Bank Stadium.
The difference? @RhodeIslandFC will not be participating after being knocked out in the Round of 32.
If the #NERevs win, they will have earned more #USOC wins in the stadium than #RIFC.
