10 days ago. I started to code my own threejs, typescript world engine to gain a more complex understanding for how games & physics actually works.
So for I don't have any clue about what I am doing. I had a break on the project for a week or something however today I revisited it and fixed some resolver, friction issues.
My ultimate goal is create a physics motor which can mimic real life

@repunkgame Looks amazing.
With the same goal. I am currently making my own engine to learn and maybe do some crazy stuff in threejs with typescript. Any advices?

@AveronGames glad to see it. keep up the work. How you code it. I'm using threejs.

@wildcraft_games can be a crazy suggestion but what about implementing a real time cut points with blood vfx and even maybe with limb destruction physics? This way all combats can be unique in both gameplay and outcome.

@AtticAwe That was a rough one to watch fall, especially because it also meant the death of 1313.

December 31, 2025. Completely by chance, I came across @bencaplanmusic 's Flood.
I've known his music for a long time. The moment I heard the first piano note, the song got stuck in my head.
After listening to it back to back, I realized the video was actually shot underwater. Then I watched the behind-the-scenes, and I became convinced this was the most artistic thing to come out in 2025.
In this new chapter of my life, he's been right beside me, constantly looping in the back of my mind. In these times when the boundaries of art and passion seem to die every day,
Ben Caplan reminded me once again that art and passion know no limits. Thank you again for that.

The rising tide doesn't raise all boats
There are some of us who can't float
Some of us are working in the mud
Not being innocent don't make me guilty
You can't keep your hands clean when it's filthy
See the water dimmed with human blood
There's no justice drowning in the flood #BenCaplan

@Palerite_ brilliant mechanic idea.
Works on very different pillars from game design to storytelling.
Seriously what can create a higher suspense then a predator looks into eyes of its prey!

Made the cloaking monster in my horror game stalk the player! Once in a while, instead of attacking it will sneak up to gather information about you... sometimes in a very straightforward way.

@iam_enginner @threejs Chunk streaming is the right foundation 👍 Next steps to scale: GPU instancing for the blades, LOD rings (fewer blades at distance), and frustum culling so you only process visible chunks. With those you can push well past 20K. Solid start though!
