Clients think litigation is about law. Half of it is actually documentation. The other half is patience.

Cross-examination is the soul of a criminal trial. All witnesses come to the court coached & determined not to slip. A good advocate slowly extracts the truth. A good judge quickly sees through the lies. Neither skill comes from textbooks, or can be taught in the law school.

The oath requires to: 1. Defend the Constitution; 2. Obey the laws; and 3. Declare allegiance to the Philippines.
