This historic India–United States trade agreement is expected to generate multidimensional and long-term benefits for the economy of Rajasthan. At present, the United States accounts for approximately 18–20 percent of Rajasthan’s total exports, making it one of the state’s most significant export destinations. The decision to reduce tariff rates in the U.S. market from 25 percent to 18 percent is likely to substantially enhance the cost competitiveness of Rajasthan’s export products. According to industry estimates, this tariff reduction could lead to a 25–30 percent increase in Rajasthan’s exports to the United States over the next two years. The Gems and Jewellery sector, which contributes nearly 35 percent to the state’s total exports, is expected to be the primary beneficiary of this agreement. In particular, the Jaipur Gems and Jewellery cluster currently exports goods worth approximately ₹6,500–7,000 crore annually to the U.S. market, and an additional growth of up to ₹2,000 crore is anticipated as a result of this development. Furthermore, more than 1.5 lakh artisans associated with the traditional handicrafts cluster of Jodhpur and approximately 80,000 workers linked to the wool and woollen industry of Bikaner are expected to benefit directly and indirectly from the enhanced export prospects. Overall, the agreement is projected to strengthen Rajasthan’s export base and pave the way for an additional export growth of approximately ₹4,000–5,000 crore over the next two years. In addition to boosting export volumes, the agreement is likely to stimulate the establishment of new MSME units, encourage design innovation and value addition, and expand packaging, logistics, and supply chain services. आज मुख्यमंत्री कार्यालय में आगामी 'ग्लोबल राजस्थान एग्रीटेक मीट 2026' (GRAM) के सफल आयोजन हेतु संबंधित अधिकारियों को दिशा-निर्देश दिए। बसंत पंचमी का पावन पर्व रबी फसलों की कटाई और समृद्धि का प्रतीक है। इसी शुभ अवसर पर 23 जनवरी से विशेष शिविर आयोजित होंगे, जिनमें कृषि, पशुपालन, मत्स्य पालन, डेयरी एवं सिंचाई विभाग समन्वित रूप से किसानों को योजनाओं का लाभ पहुंचाएंगे। 22 जनवरी को ग्राम सभाओं के माध्यम से ग्रामीणों को इसकी जानकारी दी जाएगी। राजस्थान को कृषि तकनीक में वैश्विक पटल पर अग्रणी बनाना हमारा दृढ़ संकल्प है। GRAM 2026 किसानों को आधुनिक तकनीक, नवाचार और वैश्विक निवेश से जोड़ेगा। डबल इंजन सरकार का लक्ष्य है कि प्रदेश का किसान उन्नत हो, खुशहाल हो और विकसित राजस्थान का समान भागीदार बने।
