Before we cancel an entire festival, this is the Eriokpe masquerade in Ozoro… a tradition older than most of us. Women have ALWAYS been told to stay indoors during the procession to respect the spirits. Those who stepped out knew the rule. The video is disturbing, but calling it a “raping festival” is pure YabaLeft clickbait.

Currently 3 days post-op from eye lid surgery. The skin on my eyelids is tight, making me unable to close my eyes or blink properly, which started to affect my eyesight, hence the need for surgery. My last surgery was in 2019 so it’s kinda weird to be back here after so long lol

I went to Gtbank to collect statement of account, they asked me to fill a form. I picked up the form and asked a man sitting down to lend me his pen. The man said “No, i won’t.. you’re coming to the bank and you know you’ll use a pen so you should have brought one”. I’ve never been so dumbfounded in my life. I just turned quietly and left.😭😭

I received a call around 1:48 AM yesterday morning. When I answered, the caller hung up. He called back, and I picked up almost immediately. Then I realized it was late at night and I didn't have the number saved, so I disconnected the call and went back to sleep. Pt 1

He denied it and suggested it might have been a mistake. 🙄 I accepted that and ended the call. He called back and began asking how I was doing and how my family was. In my head, I thought, "Do I even know you?" 🤷‍♂️ I asked for his name and the reason for his call, pt3

I called back several times in the morning, but the line was busy, which made me really curious. I was determined to find out what was going on. I tried again 30 minutes later, and this time he answered. I asked who he was and why he had called me at that time. Pt2
