🚨 Exciting News! 🚨 To help inspire our younger visitors and add something a little different to the museum experience, Atwell-Wilson Motor Museum is delighted to announce plans to open a brand-new petting zoo! We’ll soon have something for everyone to enjoy. Keep an eye out!

We are every excited to announce that a delegation from Calne Town's twin town Eningen in Germany, will be making an official visit to the museum, along with Calne Town Council officials, on Monday 11th May. We look forward to greeting our special VIP guests. #calnetwinning

That's all folks! We would like to thank all our visitors to the museum and all the tireless, hardworking volunteers who have made it such a fabulous season. We are now closed for the winter break and will reopen on Sunday 1st February 2026 at 10 am.

Don't forget that our lovely team of volunteers will be in attendance with our raffle Mini Sprite this coming Saturday. Please come on over and buy yourselves lots of chances at £1 a ticket to win this super prize to be drawn on July 12th. We hope to see you. #WinACar

There's still time, but only 2 weeks before our winter shutdown. Our volunteer elves are keen to start working on all the maintenance jobs over our break. We close 5pm Sunday 30th Nov and reopen Sunday 1st February 2026, with new opening times of 10am - 4pm, Tuesday - Sunday

Reminder: We will be holding a Macmillan Cancer Support Charity Coffee morning this coming Thursday 20th November from 10 am. Everyone is welcome. Feel free to bring along an edible treat. Free parking.

British racing Driver Nigel Smith has kindly agreed to come along to the museum on August 9th at midday to give us a talk on motorsport and present information about his car, that now resides in the museum. He will also have a Q&A session. Normal museum entry fees apply.
