This is the part people don’t understand. Those of us trying to avoid covid aren’t “afraid of a cold.”
It’s the downstream heart problems, immune and cognitive dysfunction, cancers, etc. we don’t want.

To be clear, Covid has an acute & a chronic phase. For many, the acute phase can now be relatively ‘mild’, but the chronic phase can continue to inflict all manner of evil on one’s body. Career destroying complications can appear months post-infection, including asymptomatic ones

I feel a mix of both incandescent rage & secondhand embarrassment for doctors who don't mask. They should be so incredibly embarrassed that they don't know to do this, or, as is more likely, refuse to follow the science & not kill & disable themselves & their patients.

have we talked about how the govt and media told new yorkers the air was safe after 9/11 despite all the toxins floating around and new yorkers took their word for it and then more people died from illnesses related to 9/11 than 9/11 itself? hmmmmm sounds familiar!

How have we sunk so low as a species that you can ask a person at a medical facility (or friends, or family, or whoever) to mask around you so they don't disable or kill you and their response is, "Well, I can't guarantee we'll be able to do that."?????

Ed Sheeran is only 35.
As of 3 years ago, he had covid 7x.
Now he has had shingles, uncommon at his age without immunosuppression.
Covid dysregulates the immune system.
