A recent lawsuit against hubs.ly/Q04dJYhB0 alleges that the AI notetaker is recording participants without full consent and using that data for model training. Thank you Reworked for bringing attention to the role of these tools in the digital workplace. In the article, our VP of AI Applications for North America, Steve Styczynski, points to a growing concern: even without a formal ruling, the risks are already visible. In some cases, recordings can be stored externally or repurposed beyond their original intent, highlighting the widening gap between how these tools are used and how they’re governed. Banning these tools isn’t realistic.
