India’s market crashed. Dubai airport is shut down indefinitely. But here’s what’s crazy. Nigeria is an oil producing nation. Higher oil prices could bring us an extra $3 to $4 billion this year alone. The same event crashing global markets right now could literally fund our economy. Let that satisfy sink in. One event in the Middle East just moved TRILLIONS of dollars across the world in 48 hours. And most Nigerians don’t even know what the Strait of Hormuz is or why it matters to their pocket. This is why I keep telling you. Understand the global market, not just your local one. Financial literacy is not optional anymore. It’s survival.

We’re in Dubai and we are ok as it gets if you incorporate the mental pressure from hearing missile interceptions. It’s sad to see this happening but the at the same time if you are realistic the chance of getting hit by a missile is very very unlikely. Still not a great situation overall but we will see how it evolves. The city is doing a great job in keeping business as usual running. Thanks for all the messages. All ok for now.
