@amykdebellis I find present tense third person fascinating and definitely plan to use it in a book one day. It puts you at a point in the narrative where there truly is no definite idea of what might happen next. It's not a story being told. It's a story that is still happening.

@ayyyekae @bogwitchbooks I like first person when the story is actually a written text that plays on the nature of the narrator and their portrayal of the described events. Otherwise, I'm ambivalent towards it. I've never known it to put me in the protagonist's shoes though, that'd be second person.

@bogwitchbooks Meanwhile 3rd person past tense is the BEST pov. People who can’t read books without feeling like they have to self insert make me look at them sideways. Makes me question their literacy age and emotional intelligence for sure. Wdym you HAVE to be in the story or else

Another week gone and I'm once again back to writing after a small break. I didn't want to take another break but I made the decision to take on a number of projects at once and one of them had to take the backseat. Then I was in hospital for a day. Time to start the grin again

@Misfortuneee YES! I really hope the movie gets more people doing this, because even if it's not as good as the original, it plays with a lot of interesting ideas that deserve attention. Also, thank you for not calling it Dune: Messiah like a lot of people do

I really should focus in on writing this one book and fleshing out its world, rather than committing to give different creative pursuits at once
