A stunning bird’s-eye view of four sharks and their schooling prey has been announced as the overall winner of the @RSocPublishing Photography Competition 2024, run in association with @The_RPS. The hunt from above, from the behaviour category, is by Dr Angela Albi, a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behaviour, who studies the predator-prey interactions of sharks and schools of fish.

One of the fun parts of being a honey bee biologist is to take part in some bee-keeping activities!! Last week we caught our #SwarmAtTheSwarm and it was raining beeeees on us hihi 🐝🐝🐝
