@Harri_obi Demand causes inflation, very correct prediction, and when Gen Zs move to cheaper EVs we'll also see a price surge in that too, and then, maybe if Prices correct with Benzes and Lexus, We'll Just Pivot back to using them, just a cycle of getting what is affordable..

My prediction for Nigeria’s auto market is that as ₦100m Benzes, Lexus and other legacy luxury models become unaffordable, a lot of younger buyers, especially Gen Zs, will start moving to cheaper Chinese EVs. And the economics make sense. These EVs have lower entry prices, cheaper maintenance costs, no fuel wahala, and the cars actually look good. If that shift picks up, demand for American Benzes and Lexus could drop, and prices in that segment will likely correct. I just hope Chinese EV prices don’t now start flying once everyone catches on.
