First American robot integration! Here's a progress update from @PhilHKG. It's also more proof that the real world web is device-agnostic. Any programmable robot, smart glasses, or smartphone app can use the same domain to browse, navigate, and search the physical world.

@JaniTurus Hahaha excellent idea, maybe it should also air out its underarms if it's been scanning for a while in a hot store.

@Auki Does it breathe faster after making some physically demanding task? 🙂

Unironically making the robot less robotic: Galbot G1 now has ambient movement, and a separate UI for monitoring it using the Auki SDK.

Auki is connecting the frontier models to the front lines of the physical world where 70% of the world's GDP gets produced.

AI can beat humans at chess and write code. But it still can't tell you what's happening inside a physical store. @Auki is building exactly that bridge Everyone assumes the robot's job is execution. But before you can execute, you need to capture what's happening, analyze it and make the right call. That's where the real bottleneck is. WuMart, one of China's largest retailers, proved exactly that. They didn't just add robots, but let AI handle the decisions. The results: ▪️ 258% increase in sales ▪️ 85% reduction in shrinkage ▪️ 30% drop in operational complexity Pretty impressive improvements if you ask me. Enterprise clients signed, robots going into stores, and WuMart already showing what possible. Always impressed by how much you learn just from following this team.

Yesterday a client asked if we could help them with store measurements since they have 400 stores with inaccurate layout data and that was making store planning difficult. Less than 24 hours later, we made this proof of concept to show them.

@curtfleenor True, which is why it's a good thing $100/day robots doing just perception tasks already provide exceptional ROI.

Grocery retail is an extremely low-margin business. Adoption of new technology is traditionally on the sales floor is slow for this reason. While the industry is adopting AI tools in the IT suite at a higher than average rate, implementing physical hardware with maintenance requirements and recurring costs will be a tough sell without an exceptional ROI.

Unintuitively but with historical precedent, we believe deploying robots to do perception tasks will create jobs rather than replace human workers.

Incremental but satisfying improvement for those who pay attention to details: Galbot G1 now does continuous navigation vs pausing at each waypoint like it used to.

Nils walks through our core thesis: the frontline needs brains more than it needs muscle. 🧠 > 💪 Today's biggest bottlenecks to deploying robots are the capture and analysis of physical data, as well as decision-making capacity. Auki connects frontier models to the frontline.

@chris_j_paxton These smaller ones will be great for smaller stores too like pharmacies. We have an early Bracketbot (sans arms) and just ordered a Nori, looking forward to seeing how they compare.
