It will be wild if Hearts win the Premiership, given we've not had a winner outside Glasgow in over 40 years.
It will be wild if Rangers win the Premiership, given they only won 1 of their opening 7 games of the season and they have only won 53% of their league games to date with just 8 left to play.
It will be wild if Celtic win the Premiership, given they've lost 7 times already this season, have changed manager 3 times, and had two utter clusterfuck transfer windows.
It will be wild if Celtic land the double, given all of the above and the fact they won a quarter final despite not registering a single shot on target.
It will be wild if St.Mirren win a major trophy, or even two, but still manage to get themselves relegated.
It will be wild that Steven Pressley has outlasted the manager of Celtic (twice), Rangers, Aberdeen, St.Mirren, Kilmarnock and Livingston this season.
It's wild that with 8 games to play Motherwell have the best defensive record in the Premiership and have lost the same number of games as the league leaders.
It's wild that 3 of Hearts 5 defeats this season have come against the teams currently sitting 9th, 10th and 11th in the league.
It's wild that Livingston won their 2nd game of the season and in the middle of March, 28 games later, they are still waiting on their next victory.
It's Scottish football.
And it is indeed, wild.

@jduffin24 A true inspiration in the way he faced his illness. Courageous and determined.

@swansunionist And a red card. Honestly Scottish football is the pits with these cunts in charge. Referees are cheating bastards.

@RIPRFC @CWN1967 Perhaps but remember the JPDT abandoned its investigation into the UEFA licence grant to Rangers in 2011 in May 2020.

@socbhoy @CelticGossip How did Celtic manage to take Bayern to final minute in CL if recruitment was so bad for 4 seasons?
English

@Auldheid @CelticGossip I’d say that, the mistrust comes from the fact that our recruitment has been an utter disaster in the last four transfer windows. That surely that can’t be argued. We are in such a sorry state because of the board, no one else.
English

@CheGuevaraTC @CelticGossip I find that knowing I can not be certain of anything leaves the door open for anything to happen. Folk should try it. It has served me well in the Spanish sunshine. Two years ago that attitude meant being in Spain on a regular basis since last May.
English

@Auldheid @CelticGossip The last 3 transfer windows suggest that nothing is going to happen of any note. The board are not trusted because they have routinely failed over these windows to redress the quality issue. Selling players is fine if suitable replacements are lined up - but they're not.
English

@67_Celtic_1888 @CelticGossip Make a difference is a better recruitment process that has football attributes particulary physical, higher than financial.
The Board needs changed for refreshment reasons but room to manouvre regarding policy depends on football income and player wages. That dictates policy.
English

@67_Celtic_1888 @CelticGossip The Board set the policy which is governed by football earnings generated, the player cost market and risk. The only change a new Board can make is on risk. Even then what can be spent under FSR even to the limit is not make a significant difference to squad quality. What might

@deniskane17 @smidster51 @paddyb53 That does not mean it has to be divisive. Alternatives can be found. Here are 2 where the support take the lead. docs.google.com/document/d/1DY… The problem of leadership is a shared one. The Collective could do worse than free themselves from the need to act via Celtic usingboth ideas.
English

@smidster51 @paddyb53 Celtic's poorly stated purpose has been hijacked for political purpose and politics by its nature is divisive - so here we bloody well are a house divided.
English

What song comes closest to the prevailing mood in respect of the supports’ relationship with Celtic?
This oldie is the sense I get across the support spectrum
