Today's opening of the Pacific Policing Initiative’s Regional Centre of Excellence is the first of 4 planned for the region. An outcome of the 2024 Pacific Islands Forum, the centre provides professional development opportunities to police across PNG & the Pacific @AusFedPolice

Sir Julius Chan was flown home to New Ireland today on a @AusAirForce C-27J aircraft. Australia was honoured to work with the PNGDF to support Sir Julius’ family and honour his final wishes.
