I have had a fabulous couple of days with Katie up in Brisbane this week at the 6th International Conference on UV and Skin Cancer Prevention combined with the Global Advances and Controversies in Skin Cancer conference. Yesterday, I was delighted to join my long standing friend (we met in 1998!) & collaborator Prof David Whiteman for us each to present a plenary lecture. David is a world leader in the epidemiology of skin cancer (amongst other things) who never stops making astute observations and has an amazing talent for making complex issues easy to understand! I spoke about progress to date and the future roadmap for us to deliver on our goal of zero deaths from #melanoma & ultimately all cancers! @DWhitemanQIMRB @AnneECust @AusSSC @MelanomaAus @ausoftheyear #SkinCancer2024 #glioblastoma
