There are people who can't afford the games they are interested in, and it's perfectly fine to watch playthroughs of games you either can't afford or only have a passing interest in... But playing and watching are 2 entirely different experiences

@Legendcreed49 Also, depending on what kind of playthrough- people can easily just end up copying the opinions on a game from whoever they watched, both positive and negative. And people parroting opinions is why 99% of gaming discourse is so obnoxious
