Voters reject Labor's big taxing budget. This is the worst-received Federal Budget since Paul Keating's in 1993. Tanya Plibersek makes a fool of herself trying to defend Albo and Chalmers' budget, which hides a death tax. #FederalBudget2026

Because nobody would invest in these foolish energy projects otherwise! Labor says ordinary Australians need to lose their CGT discount and pay more tax on investment gains to help with inequality, yet foreign capital investing into renewable energy projects still gets a 50% concession to keep the money flowing in. Anyone with functional grey matter knows if these projects were commercially viable on their own merits, governments wouldn’t need to preserve special tax treatment for foreign investors while reducing incentives for Australians trying to build wealth themselves. Australians are entitled to ask whether the system is now being designed around attracting multinational capital rather than rewarding local productivity, ownership and investment. Labor have got to go.

It’s not just what’s in this Labor budget from a tax perspective that is scary It is the precedent it sets for what else of yours that you’ve built post tax that they might decide to come after next Other ‘sacred cows’ they might look to slaughter: - family home being taxed - death / estate / inheritance taxes - further superannuation taxes - refundability of franking credits They seem intent on doing as they please with our money Under this Labor government you will eat bugs, own nothing and be happy™️

The CFMEU tax is one of the biggest rorts of taxpayer money. That is - the artificial inflation of public works three-six times international standards. It's driven by a union monopoly, zero competition, and irresponsibly expensive workplace practices that no other taxpayer in the world tolerates. And it exists because the CFMEU and Labor have an incestuous monetary relationship.

Is Australia better off now than we were 20 years ago? Australia in 2005: • ~20M people • Houses ~4–5× incomes • Stronger purchasing power • Lower debt burden Australia in 2026: • ~27M+ people • Houses ~9–16× incomes • Weaker purchasing power • Record debt and asset inflation Looks very clear to me.
