An average viral tweet on X consistently achieves the following: 1) Comments to like ratio, around 1:3 - so a post with 8900 likes would expect 2-3000 comments if the likes were authentic, not 235 (most of which are critical of Adam) 2) Impressions to likes ratio - the site average is 0.5-1%. Highly successful content can just about achieve 4% under absolutely exceptional conditions, but it's rare. Adam's content has been hitting 14% or so the last couple of weeks! Utterly implausible. Occam's razor is the concept that the conclusion requiring the most obvious assumption is usually right. So in this case, we are either expected to believe that Adam has become the most powerful communicator in the history of X almost overnight, or his engagement is artifical. Spoofing support like this is a known tactic of propaganda, and relies on the concept of 'social proof' - this allows you to convince people that extreme opinions are OK because you see evidence that many people support them. This is how mass brainwashing is achieved and has become prolific amongst far right accounts on X over recent years.
