@jaitradesfx@NSWHealth This isn’t a pandemic and no one is being ‘created’ into anything. It’s one measles case, known exposure sites, and standard prevention advice. That’s how outbreaks are stopped.
NSW Health is advising people to be alert for signs and symptoms of measles after being notified of a confirmed case who was infectious while visiting locations in greater western Sydney.
The case has returned from Thailand, where there is an ongoing outbreak of measles.
@ben_jamminn84@NSWHealth Public health alerts aren’t about ‘relevance’. They’re about giving people exposure windows and symptoms so outbreaks stay small instead of spreading quietly.
@gilmie76@codenrl Well of course I care - but you don’t think the Broncos, Storm, Panthers or Roosters could have done what they have in the modern era if they hadn’t secured and maintained sponsors?
Done deal! The Bears are back!

@footyindustryAU Might be good for someone to remind the NRL why the Bears were kicked out of the league. Poor crowds.
A lot of their older fans are probably long gone.
How will the new club AND the players cope with the 9 hour return journey to Melb, Sydney, Brisbane every two weeks.
“As a foundation club, the Bears have a rich history in the game and automatically provide hundreds of thousands of East Coast supporters for the Perth based team. The heritage of the Bears combined with the energy of the West will have this team flying from the outset,” Mr V’landys said.

Colapinto replaces Doohan on a ‘5 race deal’ starting at Imola…
Are Alpine trying to suggest they are actually weighing up their options between the two?
I don’t buy it
@gibbofootball@F1BigData Yes of course, because they all debuted with a car that won the constructors championship that same year. Piastri is nowhere near their level 51 races in.
Oscar Piastri is the 3rd McLaren driver to win 4 out of the first 6 races of a season
Senna in 1991 (won the championship that year)
Häkkinen in 1998 (won the championship that year)
Oscar Piastri in 2025 (?)
After 51 F1 races, Oscar Piastri matches Senna's win % at 11.76% (6 wins), beating Verstappen's 5.88% (3 wins) & Norris (0 wins) at the same stage. #F1#Piastri#McLaren
